Postdoctoral position is available in the Stress kinases in Diabetes, Cancer and Cardiovascular Disease group, led by Dr Guadalupe Sabio. The project will examine the role of p38MAPK in the development of obesity and obesity-induced diseases (diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, cancer and atherosclerosis). We are looking for enthusiastic and highly-motivated person with an interest in signalling.
Candidates must possess a PhD or MD degree (or equivalent) with experience in molecular biology, cell biology, lipid metabolism, signalling and animal models. A strong publication record will be valued.

Eligibility:
- PhD awarded later than 31st August 2008 (additional years for children or career breaks)
- Translational mobility: residence in Spain less than 12 months in the last three years.
- At least one first author publication in an international peer reviewed journal.
