PhD Position available (FPI fellowship) funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitivity to work on a project (PI: Joan Isern) entitled “Unraveling The Ontogeny And Functions Of Embryonic Mesenchymal Stem/Progenitor Cells”.

TOPIC: Mammalian hematopoietic and cardiovascular development, focusing on the mesenchymal/stromal lineages.
This work utilizes various transgenic mouse models to dissect out the ontogeny and the contribution of mesenchymal progenitors to fetal hematopoiesis and cardiac organogenesis.
