Postdoc position in Marburg
The Institute of Pharmacology at the Biochemical-Pharmacological Center
of the Uni- versity of Marburg (group of Prof. Dr. Thomas Worzfeld;
www.bpc-marburg.de) invites applications for a
Postdoc position in the field of Cancer Research and Pharmacology
We are studying the biological roles of the semaphorin-plexin signaling
system in can- cer and during epithelial organ repair (PNAS 2014; J.
Clin. Invest 2012).
We apply molecular and cellular biology techniques, biochemistry,
advanced imaging, generation of constitutive and conditional mouse
mutants, BAC transgenics in mice, and histology.
We are seeking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and creative
scientist with a back- ground in molecular and cellular biology.
Knowledge of mammalian physiology and ex- perience with mice and/or with
advanced imaging techniques would be advantageous.

Biochemical-Pharmacological Center of the University of Marburg, one of
the most beautiful old university towns in Europe, and a stimulating
