*Research Scientist position in Laramie, WY*

Dr. Donald Jarvis is seeking motivated individuals to serve as Research 
Scientists in a new biotechnology company, GlycoBac, LLC, located on the 
University of Wyoming campus in Laramie, WY. Dr. Jarvis recently formed 
this company to refine and commercialize baculovirus-insect cell 
technology that has been developed in his academic lab 
(http://www.uwyo.edu/MOLECBIO/faculty-and-staff/don-jarvis/index.html). 
The successful candidate will contribute to a team effort to create and 
characterize new baculovirus-insect cell systems that can be used to 
produce recombinant glycoproteins with humanized glycosylation profiles, 
as well as other glycoengineering efforts in this system, which are 
currently supported by the NIH SBIR program.

Minimal qualifications are a PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, 
Microbiology, Virology, Biochemistry, Glycobiology or a related field, 
with experience operating standard lab equipment and desktop computers, 
primary publications in refereed English language journals, fluency in 
written and spoken English, ability to work with hazardous chemicals and 
radioisotopes, ability to work cooperatively with P.I. and other lab 
members, strong organizational skills and strong verbal and written 
communication skills. Preferred qualifications are working experience in 
recombinant DNA technology, baculovirus-insect cell systems, 
glycobiology, glycan analysis by mass spectroscopy, and/or GLP. For more
